To properly install a Type C pool filter cartridge, first, turn off your pool pump. Remove the filter lid using a wrench if needed. Carefully take out the old cartridge and clean the chamber. Now, insert the new cartridge snugly into place, ensuring it fits tightly against the center tube. Replace the filter lid, sealing it securely. Turn your pump back on, and check for any leaks. If you see any, stop and readjust the lid.
